Privacy statement

Cycleo uses personal data to secure your account and to run the cycling game, transfers, rankings, messages and optional notifications. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising tracking.

1. Who is responsible?

Cycleo is responsible for the processing described in this statement. Send questions or privacy requests to admin@cycleo.com.

2. What data do we process?

• Account and profile: name, email address, avatar, team name, abbreviation and league.
• Game data: your team, riders, transfers, points and rankings. Team names, abbreviations, avatars and results are visible to participants in the same league.
• Messages: the content of messages you send or receive through Cycleo, with sender, recipient, read status and time.
• Sign-in and security: session data and, for failed sign-in attempts, a hashed combination of account and IP address to temporarily prevent abuse.
• Push notifications: only if you turn them on, we store your device's push address.
• Product analytics: limited first-party usage data for signed-in users. We do not store full IP addresses, search terms or message content; sessions are one-way hashed and renewed monthly.

3. Cookies

Cycleo only uses functional cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a cookie to remember your sign-in on this device, your language choice and your choice in the cookie notice. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

4. AI features

Cycleo's AI features (stage recaps, Metis and the Transfer Coach) use Claude from Anthropic. Race and league data is sent for this, and with Metis also your question and the game data needed to answer it. Metis does not change anything in your account.

5. Who do we share data with?

Only with service providers we need for hosting, email, push notifications (Apple) and the AI features above. Result messages with team names may be posted by Cycleo in a WhatsApp group for your league. Cycleo does not sell personal data and does not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

6. Retention

We keep data no longer than needed for your account, the league, security and legal obligations. Detailed product analytics are kept for at most 180 days; anonymised totals may be kept longer. Messages and game history may be kept as long as needed for the operation and integrity of leagues.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction, transfer or deletion of your data, withdraw your consent and object to processing. Email admin@cycleo.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the competent privacy authority.

8. Changes

If the processing of data changes, we update this statement and the date at the top.
